Modern Languages and Linguistics

View all languages courses, some classes may not be offered every semester.

We live in a world where the knowledge of more than one language can make a difference in the job market, communication can make or break a business deal, and where international travel is on most people's lists of things to do.

Take courses that satisfy UC and Cal State transfer requirements or learn a language for fun. Please note that Mission College does not offer an AS/A.A. degree or Certificate of Achievement in Modern Languages and Linguistics but does offer a Spanish A.A.-T degree.

Apply Your Language Skills

Taking a languages class can also open the doors to other areas on campus, including our HSI-STEM, Puente and Nursing programs.
