Counselor (TRIO)

Miguel Zaragoza serves students in the TRIO program. Miguel Zaragoza is a first-generation Latino College Graduate. He is a Bay Area native having grown up in the East Bay before transferring to the Greater Sacramento Area for undergraduate and graduate School.

Miguel has been working in Higher education for over 10 years holding a variety of roles each impacting the development of students and helping to promote their success in their educational journeys. He is bilingual in Spanish and English. According to Miguel, he is "motivated by helping students reach their potential."

Fast Facts

As an undergraduate and graduate student, Miguel supported himself by becoming a DJ. This eventually led him to DJ internationally. He has played in seven countries to date.
